A versatile character actor, with sandy hair and a poker face, Tony Roberts has appeared on stage,
screen and television for four decades, since his Broadway debut in the play "Something about a Soldier" in 1962. His father was radio and television announcer, Ken Roberts and his mother was animator, Norma Finkelstein .
He gave a memorable performance in THE TAKING OF PELHAM, 1, 2, 3, the 1974 thriller, as the tough Deputy Mayor. He was also featured in Sidney Lument's SERPICO [1973] and JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT [1980]

films as the best friend of the filmmaker. He is a founding member of AFTRA, [The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists] and a board member of both the Screen Actors Guild and Actor's Equity Association.
