ABOUT RICHARD DREYFUSS (1947 - )

Richard Stephen Dreyfus was born on October 29th, 1947, in Brooklyn, New York City.

Richard Dreyfus is an American leading man, whohas excelled in portraying wisecracking, loquacious characters.
Dreyfus' career - making roles began with his parts in DILLINGER, AMERICAN GRAFFITI and THE APPRENTICESHIP OF DUDDY KRAVITZ.

Richard Dreyfuss was the youngest man to win a Best Actor Oscar. Richard overcame his drug problem in the early 1980's after a car crash.

Richard Dreyfuss has been unlucky in marriage, but has been a great father to his three children by his first wife, Jeramie Rain, whom he married in 1883, and divorced in 1995. Dreyfuss married Janelle Lacey, in 1999, but they also divorced in 2005. In 2006, Richard married for a third time, to Svetlana Erokhin.
