Olivia Hussey was born on April 17, 1951 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Olivia Hussey birth name is Olivia Osuna. She isthe daughter of Andreas Osuna, aka Isvaldo Ribo, renowned Argentine opera and tango singer. Her parents divorced when she was little, and moved to England with her mother and brother, at the age of 7. She went to drama school for the next 5 years, with great results.

Olivia Hussey debuted on the London Stage opposite Vanessa Redgrave in "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie."
this performance got her noticed, and opened the door to an audition for Juliet, in ROMEO AND JULIET.

At the age of 15, Olivia Hussey gave life to Juliet in ROMEO AND JULIET which won her the 1968 Golden Globe and two successive Best Actor Donatello Awards (Italy's Oscar equivalent).

Olivia Hussey has also done some find films for television, including MADRE TERESA, DEAD MAN'S ISLAND, and LONESOME DOVE: THE SERIES.
