Maud Adams was born in Lulea, Norrbottens Ian, Sweden on February 12, 1945. Her given name at birth was Maud Solveig Christina Wikstrom.
In 1966, Maud Adams married Roy Adams but were later divorced in 1975. Roy Adams was a graphic artist and a fashion photographer. In 1999, she married the actor, Charles Rubin who is a judge.
A stunning 5'9" Swedish Born ex-model, Maud Adams broke her way into the film industry in 1970. She starred immediately in several high profile films including ROLLERBALL in 1975, and in 1974 THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN.
Maud Adams is the only Bond Girl to star in three James Bond Films. She was the lead villain in OCTOPUSSY in 1983, and cast as an extra in A VIEW TO A KILL in 1985 while she was visiting the set of Roger Moore. It was Roger Moore's final Bond film. In 1974 she was cast in THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN.
She also has appeared on numerous TV specials on the Bond Series of films.
In 1981, Maud Adams played the love interest of kooky Bruce Dern in TATOO.
In the late 1990's Maud Adams had a regular role on a Swedish TV soap opera. She has not been seen in cinema films since late 1996.
Maud Adams was nominated by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films in 1984 for the film OCTOPUSSY.
