Broderick's parents are actor James Broderick and Patricia
Broderick. Matthew's father got him his stage debut at age
17 in a workshop production of the play On Valentine's Day.
In 1983 Matthew Broderick's first big screen success was
in WAR GAMES.
With his appearance in THE CABLE GUY (1996) Matthew Broderick
received an MTV best fight award nomination.
In March 2001, Matthew Broderick returned to Broadway for
