Mary Kay Place was born on September 23, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Place is a graduate of the University of Tulsa (OK), in 1966
Mary Kay became a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.
She was initiated into the Gamma Tau (Tulsa) chapter in 1966.
Mary Kay wrote 3 of the M*A*S*H episodes with Linda Bloodworth.
They were seen between December 1973 and December 1974. One
of those episodes, HOT LIPS AND EMPTY ARMS was nominated for
a comedy writing Emmy.
In 1979 Mary Kay Place also worked with John Stewart on his
album BOMBS AWAY DREAM BABY featuring the hit song GOLD. Mary
Kay was one of the background vocals on this LP.
Place recorded two albums: Tonite! At the Capri Lounge Loretta
