Margot Kidder was born on October 17, 1948 in Yellowknife,
Northwest Territories, Canada.
Getting her first acting job, in the Norman Jewison film, GAILY,
GAILY in 1969 led to another starring role for Margot Kidder in
the film QUACKSER FORTUNE HAS A COUSIN IN THE BRONX, in which
she co-starred with Gene Wilder.
In the 70s Margot Kidder shared a beach house in California with
actress Jennifer Salt.
One of only four actors to appear in all four SUPERMAN films,
they were Christopher Reeve, Jackie Cooper, Marc McClure, and
Margot Kidder.
From 1993-1996 Margot Kidder brought to life the animated role
Gaia on CAPTAIN PLANET AND THE PLANETEERS.
The role that brought Margot Kidder instant fame, was Lois Lane
the women that Superman was always there to save. She has been
in SUPERMAN IV: THE QUEST FOR PEACE, SUPERMAN III, SUPERMAN II,
and SUPERMAN.
In the WIZARD OF OZ series Margot Kidder voice is heard as the
narrator in THE EMERALD CITY OF OZ, THE MARVELOUS LAND OF OZ,
OZMA OF OZ, and THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ all in 1987.
