About Klaus Kinski (1926– 1991)
Nikolas Gunther Nakszynski was born on October 18, 1926 in Zappot, (Free City of Danzig. Currently Sopot, Pomorski, Poland). He grew up in Berlin and was drafted into the German Army but was captured by British forces in Holland. He wound up spending much of WW2 as a British POW.

After the war he began a career on the stage and gained quick acclaim for his amazing talent and fiery temper. This persona threw him into the world of film acting where he showed no particularity in the type of project he appeared in. Because of this it is impossible to list all of the films that he has acted in.

Klaus has a complicated past with woman. He was married to Gislinde Kuhbeck from 1952 until their divorce in 1955. They had one child. From 1960-1971 he was married to Brigitte Ruth Tocki, the mother of actress Nastassja Kinski. From 1971 to 1979 he was married to Minhoi Loanic with whom he also had one child. From 1987-1989 he was married to Debora Caprioglio. He died from a heart attack in 1991. Kinski's other two children are actress Pola Kinski and son Nikolai Kinski.
