Julie Harris was born on December 2, 1925
in
Grosse Point Park, Michigan.
Harris and producer Robert Whitehead,
were named two recipients of Special Tony Awards for Lifetime
Achievement in the Theater, May 2002.
It was her sixth Tony award. Julie Harris
has won over 20 awards, including two Emmys and five Tonys,
for her work on stage, screen, and TV.
In 1981, Julie became a regular on the popular TV series
KNOTS LANDING. |
