Jobeth Williams was born on December 6, 1948 in Houston,
Texas.
As the terrorized mother Jobeth Williams was fighting
to save her children, in the 1982 shocker POLTERGEIST
and in 1986 she also played in the sequel.
Probally best known from the daytime soap THE GUIDING
LIGHT. Jobeth Williams played Brandy Schlooe # 2 from
1977 - 1981.
For her directorial debut, JoBeth Williams earned an
Academy Award nomination for the made for showtime movie
ON HOPE in 1994.
In 1979, for her movie debut, Jobeth Williams was Dustin
Hoffman's one night stand in KRAMER VS. KRAMER.
