Jim Brown was born on February 17, 1936 in St. Simons
Island, Georgia.
Best known as the star fullback for the National
Football League's Cleveland Browns, 1957-1965. In
1971 Jim Brown was Inducted into the Pro Football
Hall of Fame.
Being the only man to be inducted into three sports
Halls of Fame you will find Jim Brown in Pro Football,
College Football, and Lacrosse. A great Lacrosse player
for Syracuse University. Jim Brown was inducted into
the Lacrosse Hall of Fame, in 1983.
Trying to spoof his own image, Jim Brown had a role
in I'M GONNA GIT YOU SUCKA in 1988.
Despite only playing nine seasons, Jim Brown retired
as the all-time NFL career rushing leader with 12,312
yards. The record stood for 19 years. Brown never
missed an NFL game in his career due to injury.
After a long absence from mainstream movies, In 1987
Jim Brown took a role in Arnold Schwarzenegger's THE
RUNNING MAN.
