Jennifer Connelly was born on December 12th,
1970 in the Catskill Mountains, New York. She
grew up in Brooklyn Heights, New York, near
the Brooklyn Bridge.
From the age of 10, she was a child model
for newspaper and magazine ads, and then moved
onto television commercials. Jennifer Connelly
was in her first film as an actress at the age
of 15, in Dario Argento's "Phenomena,"
playing the lead role, Jennifer Corvino.
Jennifer Connelly went to Yale for 2 years,
and then transferred to Stanford. She took classes
in classical theater and improvisation with
drama coach Roy London, Howard Fine and Harold
Guskin.
Jennifer Connelly also speaks fluent Italian
and French, and enjoys being physically active.
