Hugh Jackman was born on October 12, 1968 in Sydney, New
South Wales, Australia.
Back in 1995 Hugh Jackman was offered a starring role in
the ABC TV prison drama CORRELLI, in this TV drama he worked
with his future wife Deborra-Lee Furness.
In the X-MEN movies, Hugh Jackman plays Wolverine, in VAN
HELSING, he goes after a monster called The Wolfman. Hugh
Jackman accidentally broke an extra's hand during the filming
VAN HELSING. Hugh Jackman is best known for his part of Logan/Wolverine
in the Bryan Singer- directed comic book movie X-MEN. According
to the comic books, Wolverine stands 5-feet-3-inches in height.
Jackman, who plays Wolverine, stands a whole foot taller than
his character.
In 1999 Hugh Jackman was nominated for a Laurence Olivier
Theatre Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his role in
OKLAHOMA!. Jackman was nominated for Best Actor in 1999 for his part in

nomination for Best Actor.
For his portral of singer Peter Allen in the Broadway version
of THE BOY FROM OZ, Hugh Jackman won the 2004 Theater Wings
Best Actor in a Musical Tony Award. Hugh was also named Best
Actor in a Musical by Drama Desk in New York.

Love" from "Oklahoma!", when they reprised their respective
roles of Curly and Laurie, at the opening of Fox Studios in
