Ethan Hawke was born in 1970 when his parents were students at the University of Texas, they separated when he was three.

Ethan attended high school in New Jersey and attended Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburg for five months.

Hawke got married to Uma Thurman after the second time he proposed. They now have two children together.
