About Don Ameche (1908 - 94)
American leading man with stage and radio expereince,
who's real name is Dominie Felix Amici. Don Ameche
was married to Honore Prendergast from 1932 until
his death in 1993 and had six children from the marriage.
1943's HEAVEN CAN WAIT is considered by some to be
Don Ameche's best acting performance.
Known to an earlier generation primarily for his role
as telephone inventor "Alexander Graham Bell"
Don Ameche later found a whole new audience and in
the eighties in hits like: TRADING
PLACES and COCOON.
