Daryl Hannah was born on December 3, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois.
Daryl made her film debut in the film THE FURY (1978). Hannah
won the Jury Award from the Berlin International Film Festival
for Best Short in 1994 for a film titled THE LAST SUPPER (1994),
which she wrote, directed, and produced.
In Daryl's twenties she played keyboard and sang backup for
Jackson Browne, they were also married for a short time.
Hannah was listed as one of twelve "Promising New Actors
of 1984" in John Willis' Screen World, Vol. 36. In 1984 Daryl
Hannah made McCall's "10 Best Female Bodies In America" list.
Hannah is missing part of her left hand index finger. She
sometimes uses a prosthetic finger in movies.
Daryl was chosen by Empire magazine as one of the 100 Sexiest
Stars in film history (#96) in 1995.
