England.
In 1999 Daniel Radcliffe played young David Copperfield in
DAVID COPPERFIELD (TV). Jamie Lee Curtis pointed out to Daniel's
mother that he could be Harry Potter. Daniel was cast as Harry
Potter by director, Chris Columbus in the film HARRY POTTER
AND THE SORCERER"S STONE (2001).
In February 2002, he was nominated for, and won "Best Newcomer"
at the Variety Club 'Award' ceremonies.Voted Person of the
Year 2002 by Time Kids. The sequel's, HARRY POTTER AND THE
CHAMBER OF SECRETS (2002) and again as Harry in HARRY POTTER
AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN (2004) directed by Alfonso Cuarón.
Daniel Radcliffe will also be in HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET
