2, 1955 in Missoula, Montana.
Dana Carvey is the brother of
Brad Carvey he was in the movie FALLING Brad is also a visual
effects guy and he did some of the digital effects for MEN
IN BLACK.
Even through Dana Carvey has had some great
parts, his most known roles would come from Saturday Night
Live, as The Church lady and her famous line well isn't that
special....
Playing Garth Algar was a funny role for Dana
Carvey in WAYNE'S WORLD in 1992 and then one year later in
WAYNE'S WORLD 2. Co starring with Mike Meyers who later starred
in AUSTIN POWERS.
Dana Carvey has been on several TV series' including
ONE OF THE BOYS, BLUE THUNDER, and SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE on which
we have seen some of his great impersonations not only that
of the church lady, but also of some very famous people including
George h. Bush, Jimmy Carter, Ross Perot, and Walter Mondale.
In 1996 Dana Carvey had his own show called
THE DANA CARVEY SHOW in 1996 playing the host and various
characters this series was also known as THE MUG ROOT BEER
or THE TACO BELL DANA CARVEY SHOW.
A huge talent is when a star can pull off celebrity
impersonations with out a hitch, this is something that Dana
Carvey can do with ease. He can do the voices
of John McLaughlin, Charles Grodin, Woody Allen, and Johnny
Carson just to name a few.
As the WWAR Assistant in the 1981 hit movie
HALLOWEEN II was how Dana Carvey made his movie debut, this
