Christopher Reeve was an American leading man born in New York City. On October 10, 2004 he passed away in Mount Kisco, New York from heart failure.
On May 27, 1995, Christopher was paralyzed from a horseback riding accident, that ended his acting career. However, he went on to write a book, and was a positive role model for other people, suffering from being paralyzed. He had a positive attitude until his death.
While working as an actor, Christopher Reeve studied at Cornell University.
Toph was a childhood nickname of Reeve's; as an adult he went by Chris.
Along with Margot Kidder, Jackie Cooper and Marc McClure, Christopher Reeve was one of only four performers to appear in four SUPERMAN movies.
