Christina Ricci was born on February 12, 1980 in Santa Monica, California.

Tiny at just over five feet, Ricci stopped growing when she was ten years old. Christina's nicknamed Squant by her siblings because of a childhood fascination with the Native American hero Squanto, who helped the first European settlers in America.

When she was just 9 years old, Chistina Ricci made her screen debut in MERMAIDS.

In 1997 Christina Ricci had a breakthrough adult role in THE ICE STORM. In 1999, at the age of 19, Ricci directed and worked on the screenplay for the movie ASYLUM.

Christina's first nude scene was in the movie PROZAC NATION (2001) for which she requested a closed set.

As of February 2005, Christina Ricci has been on THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO seven times.

Ricci won Favorite Actress in a Horror Film for SLEEPY HOLLOW at the 2000 Blockbuster Entertainment Awards and Favorite Supporting Actress in a Suspense for BLESS THE CHILD a year later at the 2001 Blockbuster Entertainment Awards.

Christina is a Co-host in a 10 volume educational video series entitled BUG CITY in 1998.
