Christina Ricci was born on February 12, 1980 in Santa Monica,
California.
Tiny and 5'1", Ricci stopped growing when she
was ten years old. Christina's nicknamed Squant by her siblings
because of a childhood fascination with the Native American
hero Squanto, who helped the first European settlers in America.
When she was just 9 years old, Chistina Ricci made her screen
debut in MERMAIDS. Ricci played the vicious child funster, Wednesday Adams, in THE ADDAMS FAMILY [1913] and the sequel, ADDAMS FAMILY VALUES [1993]
In 1997 Christina Ricci had a breakthrough adult role in
THE ICE STORM. Ricci played a teenager who seduces her brother's male lover in THE OPPOSITE OF SEX in 1998. In the same year, Christina Ricci also played in the frenetic Terry Gilliam movie, FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS, portraying Lucy, a Jesus freak artist, obsessed with painting images of Barbara Streisand.
In 1999, she played in Tim Burton's SLEEPY HOLLOW, as Katrina Van Tassel, the ingenue love interests, with a maelstrom of mayhem and murder swirling around her to perplex her suitor, Ichabod Crane, [played by Johnny Depp], morphed into a seventeenth century Sherlock Holmes.

(2001) and PUMPKIN [2002].
For the 2003 movie, MONSTER, Christina Ricci played Selby, the lover of serial killer Aileen Wurnos, with Charlize Theron who won an Academy Award for her portrayal.
During the 2011 - 2012 season, Ricci played Maggie Ryan in the television series PAN AM.
Ricci is active in promoting the causes of Planned Parenthood and The Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network.
