Chris Elliott (1960 - )
The son of Bob Elliott, Chris Elliott's father
was of "Bob and Ray" fame.
In the popular TV series DILBERT, Chris Elliott
brought to life the voice of Dogbert.
On the LATE NIGHT WITH DAVID LETTERMAN Chris
Elliott played various characters from 1982-1990, then in
1994-1995 Chris started to work as a regualr on the TV series
SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE.
In 1982 from THE LATE NIGHT WITH DAVID LETTERMAN
Chris Elliott began writing for the show. Chris continued with
his writing for the story of CABIN BOY in 1994, the TV series
GET A LIFE in 1990, the story for ACTION FAMILY in 1987, for
the teleplay and story for FDR: A ONE MAN SHOW in 1986.
We have seen Chris Elliott on major hit TV series
with semi regular guest appearences on EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND
playing Peter MacDougall and on ACCORDING TO JIM as Revrend
Gaylord Pierson.
In 1993 Chris Elliott stepped into the Director
shoes, with THE TRAVELING POET, then he went on to HOUSEWIVES:
THE MAKING OF THE CAST ALBUM and POOLSIDE ECSTACY both in
1994.
For the TV mini series FDR: A ONE MAN SHOW in
1986 Chris Elliott played Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Elliot also
was the executive producer and the writer.
Chris Elliott took the next step in 1990 and
became the producer of the TV series GET A LIFE.
