Anne Archer was born on August 25, 1947 in Los Angeles, California.
Born into a show business family, Archer followed in the footsteps
of her parents, actress Marjorie Lord and actor John Archer.
Archer's debut for the motion picture screen was in 1973's
"The All-American Boy".
Anne married Emmy-winning sports producer Terry Jastrow in
1979 after her previous marriage to William Davis dissolved
several years previous. Terry and Anne have joined efforts
to produce and star in the feature film "Waltz Across
Texas" (1982), and ABC's "The World Fashion Premiere
from Paris"
Archer's New York stage debut was as Maude Mix in the celebrated
Off Broadway production of John Ford Noonanıs "A Coupla
White Chicks Sitting Around Talking"
Anne Archer was nominated for an Academy Award, a Golden
Globe and the British (BAFTA) Academy Award for her role in
the 1987 thriller FATAL ATTRACTION.
She has been in 2 of Tom Clancy's bestseller novels turned
motion pictures; PATRIOT
GAMES and CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER.
Anne Archer became well-known for her poignant Golden Globe-winning
performance in the ensemble cast of 1993'2 "Short Cuts".

of the "100 Sexiest Stars in Film History" (#62).
