Alan Ruck was born on July 1, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Currently he resides in New York with his wife Claudia Ruck.
The two were married in 1986, the same year Ruck landed his
breakthrough role. He is a University of Illinois alumn and
the father of two children, Sam and Emma.
Though he played a teenager, Alan Ruck was 29 years old when
he appeared in the role of high school student Cameron Frye
in the classic comedy "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"(1986).
In August 2003 Alan Ruck played Victor Prynne in The Weston
Playhouse Theatre Company's production of Noel Coward's stylish
romantic comedy "Private Lives".
TV's popular series "Spin City" is host to Alan's
role as Stuart Bondek.
Starring opposite Spin City costar Richard Kind, Alan Ruck
appeared on Broadway as Leo Bloom in Mel Brooks' brilliant comedy-musical
"The Producers" (2005).
